Argos are apparently are the number one choice for toys and small appliances. Argos online are also leaders in other areas DIY and budget furniture.
The Argos advertisments state they constantly check their prices against competitors although we at Catalogues Online also do this and must admit Argos are NOT the cheapest for many popular items, it still pays to shop around.
If you are looking for an item fast and the price doesnt really matter then im sure Argos Extra Online will satisfy your needs, but if price is important shop around, Argos also charge a fee for delivery which is understandable if you would rather not visit your local store. what we dont understand is the delivery charge added to items which you cannot collect.
You can choose your item online and see if its in stock at your nearest store then reserve it for collection later. Argos call this the Argos Click and Collect Service or reserve and pick up.
